At our 2019 conference in Stuttgart it was announced that METREX would establish a METREX Research Portal. The objective of the the portal is to develop a better view on existing scientific research that can support our members in their work.
In addressing the complicated issues that our members deal with, it can be crucial to have access to the best research. Often this research has already been done by the universities and institutes in our European metropolitan regions. The METREX Research Portal will connect METREX members with this research.
The portal will also allow members to easily identify researchers for new questions that arise and to find new partners for projects and research grant applications.
In order to ensure that the portal meets the needs of METREX members, we have set up an initial survey to understand the current situation amongst our member organisations.
