WE ARE METREX
Practitioners, experts, representatives of cities, metropolitan regions and areas, highlighting the role of Expert Groups and good practices – including the role of the Managing Committee in creating and sharing results.
The METREX Managing Committee (MC) oversees the strategic direction of the organisation and ensures that day-to-day obligations are met by the Secretariat. Over the past two years, there has been a concerted effort from the MC to raise the profile of METREX and the metropolitan dimension as a source of solutions for Europe’s big challenges.
We are now embarking on a new election period (2023-2025) which will appoint a new MC to work with the Secretariat to continue to deliver, and add to the ambitions set out by our current MC. Our aim is to appoint an MC that is representative of all members, meaning a geographical spread across Europe, a balance in terms of gender, ethnicity and age, and broad expertise.
We are pleased to invite Members to consider applying to join the Managing Committee 2023-25.
