METREX and EUROCITIES have produced a joint response to the Committee of the Regions draft opinion on “The challenges of metropolitan regions and their position in the future Cohesion Policy post 2020.”
The main objectives of this opinion are to bring a better recognition of the challenges of the metropolitan regions, of their contribution to the cohesion policy and territorial cohesion, as well as to recommend measures to support them while paying attention to urban-rural links.
