This first episode will serve as an introduction to the concept of No Net Land Take, and deep dive into the different policy options available to achieve this European objective by 2050.

Nicolas Rossignol, ESPON assistant director ‘research and policy’ will present the study“No net land take trajectories: policies and practices across Europe” on the implementation of No Net Land Take across nine European countries.

By the end of the session, participants will have a clear(er) understanding of the concept and an overview of the administrative and technical tools available, as well as the constraints and drivers influencing its implementation.
