The Online Symposium Week, ‘Next Generation Podium for Eurodelta’ explored the future developments for the territory of Eurodelta from the perspectives of the next generation with discussions and insights from eminent speakers.
The 5-day conference consisted of three lunch forums and a two-day online symposium, held between 17th – 21st May 2021. It was a successful first step in engaging people from a variety of sectors in the Eurodelta. The format created awareness and helped to build bridges between research and practice.
By connecting students and young professionals, with vast expertise in the field of planning, the next generation was able to emphasise and showcase their opinions, contribute with their experience and recognise the urgency to work together on the scale of the Eurodelta. This is a fundamental step towards understanding the development of the Eurodelta as a process and not as a product.
